Onion Soup with Gruyère Cheese topped baguette

Today was onion soup.  It was interesting to find out that everyone groups soup tasted differently.  A lot of fun to make though.

Eggs Benedict

Today we made Eggs Benedict.  It was a group effort and I have to say "Group B" did an awesome job.



And they were pretty tasty!

Other things we have been doing in our second term, culinary.  I have learned knife skills, stocks, sauces and how to poach an egg (just to name a few).  I wasn't too terribly excited about our time in culinary, but I have enjoyed it.  Just really hard to get out of the "baker" frame of mind.  You know, wanting to measure everything.
